"Health For All" implies both a revolution and decentralization. Modern nursing is a dynamic, therapeutic and educative process in meeting the health needs of the individuals, family and community. Since nurses provide a large part of health care, their training should equip them with profeesional expertise. Our council believes that it has a responsibility in this aspect so that nurses can be trained to keep pace with latest professional and technological developments and use these for providing nursing care services.

This Institution is named after the most revered late Smt. Sumitra Vati. The Institute campus is located at MUDHAL, NEAR VERKA, AMRITSAR. As per wishes of Late Smt. Sumitra Vati, the New Gobind Public Welfare Society came into being & has started S. V. Memorial College of Nursing, which is the sole Institute in Majha area to impart such education.

Our college aquires ample facilities including 20 acres premises including a well-maintained hostel. The college provides best infrastructure to its students including well-equiped laboratories and latest furniture.

With the advancement in Technology and Science, it becomes imperative to impart training to the students in a more scientific way in the paramedical sphere, so that mankind can be served in a better way. This institute will provide a quality education to students in paramedical sciences, which will ultimately help in building the students and the nation as a whole. After completing their education, the students are provided the internship in S.G.T.B. Hospital, Medical College and Escorts Heart Institute. This gives our students an edge over the others.
